Copyright

The Malawicichlid website was first published in February 2002 under the domain name African Rifts.

As of February 2010 all of the content on the African Rifts website including scripts, text and copyrighted photographs moved to the Malawicichlid website. The domain africanrifts.co.uk and its website content has been owned by myself since Febuary 2002 and although the domain name no longer host the African Rifts website it shall remain active and farward to Malawicichlid.

Any African Rifts copyright content will remain copyrighted to African Rifts. All new content after February 2010 will be copyrighted to Malawicichlid. The domain name africanrifts.co.uk is not available for sale and shall remain part of Malawicichlid.

Malawicichlid Content

This website has been maintained by Malawicichlid (myself) since February 2010. I have owned the domain name malawicichlid.co.uk since February 2010 and the domain name africanrifts.co.uk since February 2002.

I have also owned the following domain names since April 2010:
victoriancichlids.co.uk and tanganyikancichlids.co.uk, these are reserved for future sub domains at Malawicichlid.

Some of the photographs found in the photo index have an unknown copyright. If one or more of these photographs belongs to you then please contact me with the name of the photograph(s) and your copyright details or you can ask that the photograph be removed upon proof of copyright ownership.

Nearly all of the photographs available in the photo index are "Reproduced by Permission" except a small handful as specified above. African Rifts holds all reproduced by permission corrospondents and can provide them upon request.

If you would like to use any of the material found on the Malawicichlid website then please make sure that you first get full permission from the owner. If the copyright/owner is unknown then it will state this. If you do decide to use any of the material with an unknown copyright/owner then you do so at your own risk.
